GE Energy is working with EDF Energy Networks to upgrade and integrate the utility company’s electricity distribution system in London. GE’s power distribution management software system is being installed by EDF to benefit 8 million customers in London, the southeast and east of England. EDF is the official energy utilities and sustainability partner of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Earlier this week, GE hosted a customer and media event, drawing more than 400 attendees to the British Museum in London, where stakeholders discussed the value and economic benefits that the London 2012 Olympic Games present.
