I applaud the effort to help people monitor their health more consistently and accurately, and I admire the technology that goes into doing that well. But I must say that the user-facing interactivity in this video is an absolute travesty. The gentleman in the video talks about "ethnography," so I assume that he knows that users must trust this device to reliably monitor their vital signs. Intimate information requires a much softer and more fluid touch than the brief moments of interactivity appear to provide. Another thing: The voice was robotic, high-pitched and frankly unsettling, which might be appropriate for the DMV's phone menu, but is out of place in a device that is replacing a friendly, nurturing nurse. I'm really surprised that more consideration wasn't given to more subtle animations, a more appropriate voice, and more friendly and polished information/graphic design.
