With the efficiency of all types of renewables, it is impossible to overcome all fossil fuel usage. It's nice to see the concern about the controversial global warming, but big industrializing countries like China will likely continue to pollute. I feel our efforts will be for not, except as a means to create revenue for the federal government through carbon credits. Lets just face the fact that it is going to take a mixture of all energy types and ideas to meet the growing energy demand.

Greg

I think U have hit the jackpot

If Ge can utilise the ocean currents as source of turbine power ,it will be a pardigm shift in technology and clean energy ......

Will GE utilizes the ocean currents for its turbine application moving forward? Is their an investment arm for Green energy innovation alterative idea's within the GE organization? How can one get in contact with GE's innovations groups with Patentable ideas for GE to consider?

What about Blue Green ocean current turbine power system technologies utilizing the ocean currents as the energy source?; I believe they're more abundant, available continuous flowing 24/7 unlike solar and wind that at night or when it’s cloudy or the winds aren’t blowing is useless; also the ocean is already at the most populated area’s where the power is needed for our country and for others around the world on or near the coastal regions of our planet; also reducing the grid delivery system requirements is also a big infrastructure advantage; also being that the ocean current turbine power systems would be submerged that would reduces the environment issues, location issues and available space issues. Wind and solar seem to be more of a political favorite for now, not the best solution.

As a manufacturer of aircraft engine components, we at Unison Engine Components - Orillia would very much like the opportunity to perhaps assist in wind turbine production. Perhaps we could machine components, gear boxes, etc? Who can we talk to?

I have constructed a new type of wind turbine that will revolutionize the field of, Wind Energy.
I would like to share with you this idea and future plans to improve the field of wind energy. this is a winner! Thank You Sincerely,Jon J Howard
