The late night landscape shifted yesterday as the NBC team announced that Jay Leno, host of “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” will be moving to a new comedy/talk show five nights a week during NBC’s 10 p.m. timeslot. The move makes NBC the first broadcast network to air the same show in primetime five nights a week. After Jay’s departure, Conan O’Brien will take the reins as the next (and fifth overall), host of the 55-year-old late night staple.
