You might not know this, but the Mayor of Schenectady, NY, proclaimed Saturday, August 8th Colucciello Family Day. And with good reason. Among the many family members, there are several veterans, civic leaders, community service volunteers and all-around good citizens. Among these, GE is especially proud of the 16 family members who have dedicated 270 years of combined service to the company.
Richard Colucciello, a finance manager for GE Energy’s wind power business, wrote to tell us about his family’s recent reunion. “It was amazing to see all of our relatives, including cousins we hadn’t seen in some time.” The reunion included games for kids and grown-ups, Colucciello trivia and lots of good food, he said, adding that there were even a couple of Colucciellos who said they wanted to come work at GE just to add to the years of service!

Calling all Colucciellos: Meet the children, the grandchildren, the great-grandchildren and the great-great grandchildren of Michael and Maria Colucciello, who came to the United States from Fontanarosa, Italy, in the 1920s to make a better life for all of them.
