As Healthymagination enters year three of a six-year, $6 billion mission to transform medicine and patient care, GE Reports dug into the campaign’s annual report, released today. The Healthymagination Method
Each potential Healthymagination product or service starts with a question: “What do customers and patients need?” Once GE develops technology to meet those needs, it goes through the Healthymagination Validation Process – consider it the assembly line of cost-cutting, quality-improving and access-expanding healthcare innovation.

Two Years: 43 Breakthroughs
In two years, the process has resulted in 43 Healthymagination-stamped products and services, which have touched more than 234,000 lives. They range from the Sunspring, a solar powered water purifier, to the MAC 400, a portable ECG to the Vscan, a pocket-sized ultrasound

All About the Vscan
